    When Greetje Hakvoort and her partner Arien bought the large equestrian accommodation in Kootwijkerbroek in The Netherlands it had been empty for several years. They started renovating the buildings and the 6 hotel rooms. Part of the renovation plan was to reduce the enormous gas bills that took up a large part of the budget.
