Equestrian facility uses smart rain water collecting
Just south of Melbourne, Australia, Seth Stein Architects and Watson Architects and Design worked together on a private equestrian development.
The architectural design includes a smart rain water collecting system. Four corrugated steel cylinders catch the rain water coming from the roof and supply large buried water tanks beneath the paddock, with the overflow supplying a newly build lake with a small island that serves as a bird sanctuary.
